The Shedrick Mitchell Trio feat. Pher

Shedrick is a native of St. Louis Missouri, who attended the Mannes School of Music. He began is career working with Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Pattie LaBelle, Yolanda Adams, Roberta Flack, and Kenny Garrett just to name a few. Shedrick later obtained his Master’s degree in Music Composition as he continued to expand his versatile list of artists to include Maxwell and Jay-Z. Although he is most known as a musician, he has worked on several projects as a composer, arranger and producer. Also a teacher and developer of young musicians, his favorite adage is “To whom much is given much is required”; he strives to live up to that every day.

Dripping with artistic flair and soulful imagination, singer Pher is an artist brimming with classic finesse and refreshing  craftsmanship. He has toured and recorded internationally with his own group, as well as with music industry legends like Usher, The Roots, Robert Glasper, Stevie Wonder, Bootsy Collins, Sam Smith, Disclosure, Mike Posner, Esperanza Spalding, Bilal, Jon Batiste, Harvey Mason Sr., Eddie Palmeri, Dianne Reeves, Eric Harland, Kris Bowers, ERIMAJ, and others. His 2020 debut single, “Murky,” has clocked over 1.5 million spins on Spotify and it’s an audio representation of a light at the end of the tunnel.
