Born and raised in Miami Florida Saunders Sermons II is an American singer, trombonist, and song writer. Sermons has toured with Maxwell, Jay Z, Diddy, Roy Hargrove, Ceelo Green and R&B saxophonist Mike Phillips, among others. He received his Grammy status for his horn arrangement work with R&B/Soul singer Maxwell and Blues supergroup, The Tedeschi Trucks Band. Since then he has grown to become an established independent artist with an admirable music career.

Vocalist Russell Taylor is a multi-faceted artist possessing a broad musical range heavily informed by the rich sounds of American cities he’s called home throughout his life: Philly, New York, and the DMV. He approaches his artistry with an old-school flair rooted in showmanship and a commitment to connecting with audiences authentically. Taylor’s willingness to experiment with various sounds is one that has allowed him to navigate through multiple genres effortlessly.

His latest single, “Blood on the Metal” is a perfect blend of retro 80’s RnB/Pop production and warm soulfully seductive vocals. Russell has performed to sold-out shows at the legendary Apollo Theater, was installed as an acclaimed VH1’s You Oughta Know Artist, and his music has been featured on The Morning Buzz Live, Stop/Watch & shows like Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Fosters, Degrassi the Next Generation, Atlanta Exes, and Black Ink Crew.
