People vs Larsen feat. Bill Todd
People vs. Larsen has offered an innovative voice in the indie/blues music scenes in New York since 2012 and have established themselves as one of the “best live bands” in New York City. Emanating from a wide breath of influence centered around the blues, People vs. Larsen delivers a musical experience which infuses blues, rock, jazz and indie music, and gives audiences a powerful, soulful and uplifting experience. The band has put out two full length albums, as well as a number of singles, and continues to tour the US and perform in NYC on a regular basis.

Tom Larsen
Tom started People vs. Larsen in 2011, for which he is the bandleader, composer, and producer. He graduated from the Jazz Studies Program at SUNY Purchase in 2009, where he studied with jazz guitar legend John Abercrombie. He is influenced by the blues and the music of Jimi Hendrix. He has performed all over the US, Mexico, Europe, and the Middle East.
Dave Tedeschi- Drums
Dave Tedeschi hails from Green Bay, Wisconsin, and after graduating from the Eastman School of Music and then landed in New York City in 2009. Over the past ten years, Dave has become known for his musicality, versatility and improvisational prowess. When not on the road with Postmodern Jukebox, Dave performs with his band People Vs. Larsen and maintains a busy schedule as a sideman both in the studio and in live situations. On top of performing, Dave also finds great joy in teaching private lessons and clinics to musicians of all ages. Dave is supported by Zildjian, Vic Firth, and CNC drums.
Spencer Murphy- Bass
Spencer Muprhy is a Brooklyn-based producer, performer, writer, and consultant. He has worked live and in the studio with Nick Hakim, Helado Negro, Gabriel Garzon-Montano, Bartees Strange, and Adam O’Farrill. His longtime association with producer Thomas Bartlett has led to collaborations with Anthony Roth Costanzo, Mx. Justin Vivian Bond, Nico Muhly, Elysian Fields, Henry Jamison, and The New York Philharmonic under the direction of Jaap Van Zweden. Visit http://spencersweb.site for more information.
Bill Todd- Alto Saxophone
Billy Todd is a multi-instrumentalist woodwind performer, bandleader, and educator based in Los Angeles, California. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Billy T graduated from the Jazz Studies program at SUNY Purchase and later went on to receive his Master’s in Multiple Woodwind Performance from New Jersey City University. After spending nearly a decade in New York City playing in prestigious jazz venues, Broadway shows, and touring with various groups, Billy T made his way west where he continues to play in a variety of bands, musical productions, recordings, and also leads his own group, Billy T and the Fam, a funk-jazz fusion, in and around the Los Angeles area.
