Michael Ragonese Trio: Recollections
Los Angeles based pianist, composer, and educator Michael Ragonese returns in concert for a very special show featuring his original trio. The lineup features award-winning bassist Gary Pratt and drummer Andres Salazar, who has performed with Gerald Clayton, Billy Childs and more. The trio grew together through the years and developed fresh ideas performing great American songbook standards highly influenced by the Keith Jarret and Brad Mehldau trios.
Ragonese has performed, recorded and toured internationally with decorated artists in Bennie Maupin, Charnett Moffett, Alphonso Johnson, Sue Raney, John Daversa, Louis Cole, Gary Pratt, Walter Smith III, David Binney, Bob Reynolds, Bob Sheppard, Rick Braun, Dave Koz, Engelbert Humperdinck, Aubrey Logan and Grace Kelly.
