Pianist Joe Warner is one of the Bay Area’s brightest young talents, quickly gaining recognition for his compelling style and exceptional performances . He has performed as Pianist and Musical Director for The Dynamic Miss Faye Carol for ten years, leads the Joe Warner Trio, and has also performed or recorded with Marcus Shelby Orchestra, Johnny Talbot, Stephanie Crawford, Mary Stallings, Steve Turre, Robert Randolph, Kenny Washington, Elena Pinderhughes, Marvin ‘Smitty’ Smith, Lenny White, Dennis Chambers, Bernard Purdie, The California Honeydrops, Buster Williams, Gary Bartz, Azar Lawrence, Mistah F.A.B., John Santos, Jules Broussard, Oakland Symphony, Rickey Woodard, John Handy, Valerie Troutt, and Denise Perrier, among others. Tonight he is joined by jazz masters  bassist Essiet Essiet and featured drummer Roy McCurdy. This legendary drummer has a storied career of over six decades, anchoring the drum chair for Cannonball Adderley from 1965-1975 and performing with jazz legends including Sonny Rollins, Count Basie, Roy Eldridge, Coleman Hawkins, Bobby Timmons, Betty Carter, Chuck Mangione, Herbie Hancock, Gene Ammons, Joe Williams, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Wes Montgomery, Oscar Peterson, Bud Powell, and countless more.
