Javier’s first album “The Phoenix Sessions” was met with critical acclaim and was loved by jazz aficionados and jazz newbies alike, for good reason.  This debut album achieves incredible musical prowess and provocativeness, somewhat reminiscent of the great fusion bands of the 90’s like Weather Report.  But it discovers and explores themes, rhythms and sounds firmly rooted in the now.
