Band members regularly tour and record with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Anderson .Paak, Stevie Wonder, Kamasi Washington, Stanley Clarke, Diana Ross and numerous renowned artists spanning jazz, funk, R&B, soul and hip-hop. GENR8R draws inspiration from all these genres. Their musical quest: a “funkonomically designed” multi-genre blend to inspire joy and makes the body groove! This “groove big band” includes: Ian Roller (sax/compositions), Aaron Janik (trumpet), Alex Csillag (trombone), Sam Barsh (keys/synth), Deen Anbar (guitar), Zephyr Avalon (bass), Gianluca Palmieri (drums).

– SAM BARSH: 3x Grammy Keyboardist/Composer/Producer, Barsh composed Kendrick Lamar’s “Institutionalized”; Anderson .Paak’s “Heart Don’t Stand a Chance” and “Your Prime”; and Aloe Blacc’s “The Man”….and many more notable songs!

– TAMIR GRINBERG: “Tamir’s voice soars and captivates attention — like Michael Jackson!” He hit LA from Tel Aviv with a big splash. He recently released EP “InWaters”; signed a deal with Kevin Morrow and Steel Wool Entertainment (home to Anderson .Paak, Watsky and Elijah Blake); inked a touring deal with Live Nation; formed an agency relationship with Tom Windish (Paradigm); and finalized a distribution pact with AWAL/Kobalt Music.

– OLIVIA RUFF: Powerful and soulful Vocalist/Actress Olivia Ruff focuses on acting and music in LA and frequently returns to the Bay Area to perform in her psychedelic trip-hop group Liberation Movement, as well as Mama’s Soup and Sal’s Greenhouse. She performs internationally at venues and festivals, writing and producing her own music that reflects her deep multicultural roots in soul, funk, hip-hop and reggae.
