ITALIAN DRUM LEGEND FRANCESCO CINIGLIO (AKA “NAPO”), “LOCOMOTIVE BAND”, FEATURING SPECIAL GUEST DAYNA STEPHENS (TENOR & EWI SAX), WAYNE TUCKER (TRUMPET), JAVI SANTIAGO (KEYS) AND GIULIO XAVIER (BASS)

Born in Naples, Francesco Ciniglio “Napo” started playing the drums at age 5 under the tutelage of Maestro Sergio De Natale.  After completing jazz studies in NYC, he recorded his first LP of original compositions with famed Aaron Parks and Joe Sanders.  Now doing graduate work at Julliard, Napo frequently performs at the top jazz venues around NYC, including Smalls and Dizzys and has regularly plays with the young rising stars on the jazz scene in New York including Donny McCaslin, Dayna Stephens, Wayne Tucker, Joel Frahm, Dida Pelled, Alex Claffy and many others.
