JAPANESE JAZZFEST! ATSUKO HASHIMOTO ORGAN QUARTET

Featuring Osaka Jazz All-Stars:  Atsuko Hashimoto (Hammond B3), Yutaka Hashimoto (guitar), Hideki Kawamura (tenor sax) and Akira Tana (drums).  Atsuko achieved international fame sitting atop the Hammond B-3 in the iconic Don Shop jazz venue. Atsuko has shared the bill with Dr. Lonnie Smith at Blue Note Osaka.  She has recorded with jazz legends Houston Person and Jeff Hamilton. She tours the world and performs with her accomplished guitarist husband Yutaka. She has performed and headlined many Jazz Festivals including the Monterey Jazz Festival where she was featured with famed Joey DeFrancesco in the “Hammond B-3 Blowout”.  When Atsuko first toured the US in 2001, in the Bay Area she was featured at the San Jose Jazz Festival, Kuumbwa Jazz Center and the former Jazz at Pearls.
