Guitar phenom and singer-songwriter Asher Belsky has been named a “rising star” by The Press Democrat newspaper.
Asher has opened for Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Festival and has played at The Fillmore and New York’s Beacon Theater as a featured artist at the Allman Family Revival, The Warfield with ALO, and San Francisco’s Black Cat with Maurice “Mobetta” Brown (of Silksonic) and Mike “Blaque Dynamite” Mitchell as well as with Isaiah Sharkey (John Mayer, D’Angelo). Asher has also played the National Anthem for the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center.
In fall 2021, Asher released an EP produced by Jorgen Carlsson of Gov’t Mule. The release features Jorgen on bass, Toss Panos on drums (Robben Ford) and Jeff Young (Jackson Browne and Steely Dan) on keys.
